Churchill, Manitoba is perhaps the best place in the world to see Polar Bears. Located on the shore of Hudson Bay, the polar bears descend on the shoreline in October and November to wait until the ice freezes and they can venture out to hunt on the ice. Churchill is set up for visitors to spend a day or a week seeing and learning about these incredible species. Churchill is also famous for its birds, beluga whales and northern lights. Free and open to the public.
